This commission is responsible for providing oversight and advising the Pastor of all matters relating to the parish physical plant. It assures that parish property is properly maintained, makes recommendations with respect to repairs, assists with the planning and implementation of capital improvement projects and, when needed, undertakes feasibility studies relating to the acquisition or disposal of parish property. Some specific tasks include periodical inspection of all parish property to determine the need for repairs and/or renovations, reviewing heat and utility costs, developing a resource list of parishioners who will donate time and talent for parish maintenance needs, and providing parishioners with periodic reports of the condition of the parish property.
