Rev. Bruce Siket, Parochial Vicar

I grew up in Madison, the son of Michael and Irene Siket. I have one other sibling, a brother , Arthur. I attended the local public schools through high school. After graduation, I attended the University of Maine at Orono, where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Physics. This started a career in the paper industry that lasted almost 30 years as an engineer and supervisor and took me to many parts of the country. I met my wife, Anastasia (Stacy for short), in New York state, where we both worked for International Paper. Several transfers and job changes later we arrived in Millinocket where we stayed until her death in 2001. After her passing, I contacted the Diocese about the possibility of priesthood. After much discerning on both our parts, I started seminary at Blessed John XIII in Massachusetts in 2003. I completed my studies in 2007 and was ordained in Madison in May. I am currently serving the people of Greater Waterville as a parochial vicar.
