The St. John Food Pantry was started in the 1950s by a dedicated group of volunteers and a $25 donation. Since that time, the pantry has remained in the capable hands of many faithful volunteers and contiues to be run solely on donations.

 Several years ago, drive through service was added. Food is pre-bagged and loaded into vehicles. The addition of this service streamlines the process thereby adding to the amount of people we can serve in a short period of time. 

 If you or someone you know is food insecure, please stop by and see us. No one should go hungry!


Fairfield Interfaith Food Pantry

Open 1st & 3rd Thursdays of the month from 9:00AM - 12:00noon and 5:00 - 7:00PM.

The Fairfield Interfaith Food Pantry was started in 1993 in a small school office in the old Immaculate Heart of Mary School Building. In 2011 the school was closed, and the pantry was forced to relocate. We were extremely grateful for a temporary location at the Baptist Church, and then in 2012 the Town of Fairfield acquired land and a building for us, but it needed lots of work and renovation. After two years of fund raising, hard work, and prayers the new pantry was ready for opening. With the renovation and opening of the new building a dream of many people has finally come to fruition.
